Don't buy jarred spaghetti sauce it's so easy to make it from scratch and a lot tastier and you know what it has in it ingredients for your own spaghetti sauce are olive oil garlic onions tomatoe puree tinned tomatoes and basil and of course salt and pepper....Fry the onions and garlic in the olive oil til softened add the tomatoe puree and stir in then add tomotes some water the basil and season to taste this can be used as a pasta sauce as a vegetarian alternative or you could add mince and leave to cook for half an hour this is a recipe passed down to me from my italian nanna tis good stuff...

DO NOT BUY the gar spaghetti sauce. Make it all on your own. Cook Italian Sausage w/garlic (drain) Cans of Tomato paste, tomato sauce, and stewed tomato's(i always get the stewed w/green chilies) Worchicher sauce Italian spice, pepper, oregano, and more garlic (spice to how you like) Green pepper, red pepper, mushrooms, olives, onion and artichoke hearts. Let this cook ALL DAY, and I'm here to tell you. Never are you going to go back to the gar S_ _ _.

Saute some chopped onion and garlic in a little olive oil. Add the sauce and some dried basil and oregano. Toward the end you can add some vodka and cream if you want a creamier sauce.

I throw in a pound of cooked hamburger meat with mushrooms and onions too, but if you don't want all that trouble a little added milk and olive oil will be fine.

ground beef (or turkey) chunks of cooked italian sausage, peas, sliced mushrooms. As far as spices: try onion soup mix, oregano, crushed red pepper. (or my secret ingredient that people LOVE parsley flakes --sounds wierd but everytime I use it people beg to know what the secret is)
