one that is a mist/spray...it gives an airbrush finish rather than orangey. stay away from the lotions!

Since they all have the same active ingredient DHA, they're more or less the same. It's more important to apply it correctly. First use a scrub to smooth your skin then apply the tanner with glove (to prevent your palms go to brown). Foams are easier to use than lotions and if you have streaks you may adjust them by self tan wipes.
I can advise you Nivea, Neutrogena and L'oreal as they're cheap and good.
