One of the global warming gases is CO2, which is absorbed and exhaled by the plants on a daily basis. In some sort, the plants are cabon neutral.

But plants play a bigger role in other aspects like biodiesel, non-conventional sources of energy etc., which indirectly helps to reduce global warming.

U should only plant those trees whose speed of exhaling Oxygen is fast because they will use Carbon dioxide faster and can help making the environment better. Such trees are :- NEEM, mango, Peepal, bargad etc. They can also help u in many other ways

In fact, all plants consume carbon dioxide. So, the more plants we have, the better. The biggest help we have today comes from algae in the ocean.

The largest is phytoplankton (which we are poisoning and tropical rainforests, which we are cutting down.
