First shave as for a bikini, which you probably do anyway. Then take the central long, curly hairs and cut them to a length you think you might like.

As the weeks go on, you might want to consider cutting the Central long hairs even a bit shorter to please you.

Then also the bikini line shave might get in a little closer to the central, longer hairs. That is what I did. It took say several months before I was pleased with the look. I can't say what will please you, but you might want to ask your boyfriend after you did your first moderate shave and cut.

I am pleased with my shape and contour "down there". But it took a little while to get used to it. But I would not go back to a hairy bush; I mean no way! It seems neater shaved and contoured, and I think guys really like a well contoured pubic area with their gal. I know mine did, and commented that he does not like a "big hairy bush" down there and can't imagine that any girl would.

First off, do what feels comfortable. Shaving is high maitenence, and can lead to itching, or being picky, which is uncomfortable and leave a female raw after sex. Try trimming the hair shorter. You can use a comb to pull hair safley away from skin while trimming so you don't accidentally cut yourself. I prefer this. It looks nice and clean, and it is not uncomfortable for the male or female.
