I have an ordinary car.. No special mods or anything.. I just wanted it to sound a bit nicer than the usual.. I got the ampli, a sub, seps, and a good head unit.. I built the speakerbox by myself.. But it does'nt sound good.. Tried it with my couz's and it sounded alot nicer.. Did i do something wrong?

Do a search for speaker box construction and read up on what some of those sites have to say...it's not always just slapping some boards together to get good sound. If you can, take apart a friend's box and see how it's made and what materials were used so you can copy it.
Good luck, Paul

how big is the box? make sure it's sound proof on all the joints, and make sure the box isnt too big/too small for the subs. it should say what cubic feet would be good for it in the sub manual. maybe your cousins subs operated better in the box size that you made.
