Unfortunately, sometimes we have the greatest intention for hope with other people and they are on a totally different wave length. It is possible that this person you 'met', was just that - someone you met - you might have pushed the envelop a little too fast by having your "friends give him notes". Did you ever think that this person might not be into a relationship or anything similar? In my day, when you sent someone a note and they didn't respond - we left it alone. Maybe you might turn your attentions elsewhere. This might not be the 'time' and 'space' for you and this person right now.

I personally think that if he's not actually replying to ur notes or talks to u. U should just kind of like calm down, and let him make the move. If he likes u he will! And i mean if u guys hung out once, it means he likes being with u so yeah just wait and let him call or write u notes (even though boys actually never do that 'cause they think its girlish, trust me i have had experience). mmmmm.. and if he never does make a move don't give up and u'll find someone even better 'cause there is a lot of fish in the sea! hahaha Good luck : )

He is probably ashamed for anyone to know that he likes you. When a guy is acting one way in private and another way around his friends, it is time to just leave him alone. Most guys that are in a grade higher tend to get embarrassed when their friends find out that they are interested in a girl in a lower grade. Just leave him alone so you won't come off as being desperate.

I think it's pretty obvious he's giving you the cold shoulder. If I were you I'd just leave him alone. Otherwise you might come off as desperate without really meaning to be.

Well he does not seem really intrested. It might be that you do not have much in common with eachother. I am sure that you will find someone but for now I dont think that it is him or you would have heard something back by now

Sounds like he was looking for a "different school fling."
He sounds a little shady. He is/was talking to someone that also goes to your school and doesn't want to start any confusion and give himself a bad rep.
I would drop it and move on.

He may have just lost interest in you, or he may be embarrassed at school that you guys aren't the same age. Maybe when he met you he thought that you were the same age.

Based on what you said, it seems you didn't ask him about this in person. In my opinion, the worst thing you can do is use indirect contact to get results. Do it yourself! Ask him yourself and see what he says. And if he doesn't like you, don't let it weigh you down -- just move on.
