It is. And in that religion the only true God is a psychologist and the only dogma is : "Thou shall always love, obey and respect your psychologist". If not, you´ll be sent to the hell of "abnormality"

Ha ha. No. Psychology is the science that studies the mind and it's mental processes. Although religion can play a big part in how it is viewed. Some people integrate their religious beleifs with their scientific views. Which is actually a good thing. It is good to take several perspectives on things, view them in a scientific way and a spiritual way at the same time. Sometimes a little bit of both is how we will come to the whole truth.

It's an IDEOLOGY. That is a belief system. It takes certain things to be true. This would apply especially to certain types of psychology such as Psychoanalysis.

In the same sense that Communism is an ideology.

no its a way of changing your outlook on life the way you see things and think about things to give you a better perspective on life if your looking for religion along the lines of psychology try zen budaism or tao budaism there both very calming and give the mind pause to think and grow in wonderful ways tao is good for people who have anger issues it teaches you how to harvest that anger positively there both wonderful for people who are searching for something they know that there is a god like power out there but mabe they have a problem wraping there head around the whole holy trinity thing I can understand that so I hope that ive helped a little and if you need to talk you can always contact me

I suppose to those who "worship" psychology it would be.

Not to me though, it's an attempt to understand and correct the problems of the human mind.

Absolutely not. It is a science, completely with experiments, data, analysis, and predictions. That sort of thing is conspicuously absent in religion.
