There is no 'best' children's hospital. Some of the children's hospitals specialize in different things and become the best,but it all depends on what that thing is: cancer, diabetes, congenital heart disorders, premature babies, etc. So, you have to be more specific. Those hospitals that make it easy for parents to stay with children, may not be the best of care for the child's particular need. Finally, there are the rare situations where it is the doctor, not the hospital that makes the difference.

Now, different news magazines will rate different hospitals, but those rankings continually change. For instance, Boston Children's is listed on the below list as one of the top 10 in the country. Well, for that year maybe. My parents were told that they were doing a poor job raising my brother; that's why he was doing so poorly. They failed to diagnose Autism. Granted it wasn't as commonly diagnosed then, but you'd think out of 7 doctors, they could figure this out. When he went to the Minneapolis Children's Hospital, the doctor saw it the minute he walked in.
