find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I myself am also trying to lose weight. It's been 6 months and I've lost 40lbs. But I've still got a long way to go. Anyway, here are some tips I can give you:
* Keep in mind that you didn't gain all your excess weight overnight, so you can't expect to lose it overnight.
* Remember that by doing this, you'll become more healthy, and improve your physique.
* To keep your mind from straying off to thoughts of food, try to keep yourself busy with something that you like doing.
* To lose weight, the calories that you burn off in a day should be more than the calories that you take in [eat], so stay active. Some good exercises when you're starting out are swimming, biking, or brisk walking, as these are not too strenuous. Also, try to make your workouts more fun and less of a chore. If there's a shopping mall near you, go window shopping with your friends; you won't even notice how much walking you've done. Try to vary your exercises so as to avoid getting in a rut [become too much of a routine; become boring]. The important thing is to keep active, regardless of what activity it is.
* To keep your heart healthy, it's important to get your heart rate up, at least, maybe 15 minutes per day. The more time you can allot, the better.
* Lift weights. You don't have to use heavy weights. You can use light weights [ones that you're comfortable with], just increase the repetitions. Muscle mass is proportional to metabolic rate. The more active muscle you have the more calories you burn throughout the day. BTW, lifting weights doesn't necessarily mean getting "bulky" muscles. You can lift weights just to tone your muscles [low weight, high reps].
* Lessen your intake of simple carbs, sugars, beef and pork, fried food. Eat more veggies, fruits, complex carbs, and fish. These are more nutritious and much easier to burn off. Stocking up on healthy food will come in handy when you get the "munchies".
* Try not to eat before bedtime, as you won't be able to burn off the calories. Unless, maybe if you'll cut down on your eating and increase your activities the next day.
These have been effective for me, so far. I hope this helps you start out on your road to a better you.Ü

You need to lose weight in the right way and not through exessive dieting or exercise. The fact that you say that you are in depression also puts you at risk of going overboard. A poor self image and bad eating habits can lead to eating disorders.
You have to be disciplined about not eating junk or processed foods. Eat fruits and vegetables but don't forget your protein and some carbo either. Eat in moderation.
Exercise three times a week for about 30 mins per session.

Hi, of course, you should eat a healthy diet and make sure to get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. STAY AWAY FROM JUNK FOOD by all means! that's what's going to hurt you from seeing any improvement so Stay dedicated. My recommendation would be to try some spinning and jogging.

First of all you don't want to lose weight too fast because it is bad for you. The best way is to see a nutritionist and they will put you on a diet. My nutritionist put me on a gain weight diet and it actually works, so I would sugguest that. They are not expensive just research and try to find a good one. You parents might help out tell them it will help you feel your best. Before you know it you would shed the pounds, but it is going to take time and commitment

All you want is treadmill and some mild dumb bells per chance some 5lbs to commence with and 8lbs for at the same time as your waiting for slightly extra problematic exercising hardship-free. purely jog a minimum of 30 to 40 5 min an afternoon, and seem on YouTube for dumbbell weight routines. once you could jog on treadmill for that element at a descent %, attempt doing periods for about 20 min an afternoon next. What I advise is sprint per chance 80 to ninety% of your suitable % for a million min then jog for a million min, repeat for 20 min, 5 circumstances a week. it really is massive for increasing your metabolism, and helped me free 95lbs As for meal plan, for myself i'd decrease out all junk foodstuff and juice, purely drink water. per chance once a week take care of your self to slightly ice cream or something. you could seem up healthful meal plans on YouTube or google. although! I say purely drink water because you want to flush your equipment of regardless of undesirable sugars you've been eating. it really is not undemanding in the starting up yet once your equipment receives rid of the sugars it really is going to crave water fairly and junk foodstuff, juice and pa wont be a mission anymore. in any case! it really is all I did to free that weight and saved it off going on 2 years now. keep in concepts if it develop into undemanding then honestly everyone will be donning their skinny denims and we would have an weight problems mission, so it really is gonna tale allot of will ability. good luck!
