I know that Christians aren't the only ones who value the life in the womb. But all Christians value life in the womb. Some, who haven't yet confessed Jesus Christ their Lord, still have Christian values in their heart & value life in the womb.

Let's see, you are having a dinner pary and you have invited 6 people. You have made enough food for 6 with the idea that you will have just a little more in case someone want seconds. The first guest comes and they have brought a friend. You bite your tongue and graciously set another place knowing that your invite was for one. The next guest pops up and they have also brought a guest. You pull out a copy of you invite and see where it says please RSVP and that each guest says they will be coming. Long example made short. !2 people show up where 6 people were expected. The party cannot feed everyone and the party crashes and burns.

Christians are the first to lead the fight against abortion, but they are the first to tell you that God is in control and that God will show everyone the way. Maybe God feels that abortion is just the same as keeping the population in control just like war and pestulence. Children often die in great numbers when there is a plague because they are not strong enough to fight, so you are saying that plague is ok by God or war is ok by God but abortion is not. Here is one of those nasty hypocrisies again. It can't be right one way and not right another. Death is a given in life. There is no set amount of time that makes up a life. Forcing people to have children is never a good thing since the children often are abused when they are not wanted and don't get me started on people adopting these babies out. There are children who live their entire lives within the system and this isn't the way to learn about caring for others when others didn't care for you.

Maybe because we watch the science documentaries that show "fetuses" sucking their thumbs and playing with their toes, proving they are actually babies. Actually, I think abortion advocates know this, they just care more about their own personal convenience in not wanting to have to be pregnant and not being bright enough to take birth control. The excuse of not being able to raise a child doesn't hold water considering the thousands of people waiting years to adopt. So basically, it boils down to selfishness. There are many non-christians who are also anti-abortion. Its not a religious thing, its a human thing.

Watch it with the sweeping generalizations, my sister; there are enough of those here as it is, on both sides. You're not doing the pro-life cause any favors by doing so. Of course Christians aren't the only ones who "realize" this. I'm thankful for all who recognize and value the humanity of the unborn, regardless of which faith they profess.

Because we know that it is God who places the baby in the mother's womb, making that baby a separate life from the start.

8 Weeks (condition at start of fetal stage). “…At this point, all major structures, including hands, feet, head, brain, and other organs are present, but they continue to grow, develop, and become more functional.[6] When the fetal stage commences, a fetus is typically about 30 mm (1.2 inches) in length, and the heart is beating.

Thats because its not the mother's body. If you remove the fetus from the womb, the mother won't die the fetus will.

Why because our Bible speaks of God knowing us even in our mother's womb.

Jeremiah 1:5 KJV
(5) Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Psalms 139:13 KJV
(13) For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

Genesis 25:21-23 KJV
(21) And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
(22) And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.
(23) And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

That is my answer, and God answer to your question from His word. Often people want to disprove the Bible but over thousands of years ago the Bible still is proven true, the world just wishes not to listen.

Yes, and these are also the folks who are convinced dead people can come back to life. What do you expect?

Until it can survive outside the womb, it is a parasite in its mothers body, completely dependent upon her. Only when it is outside the womb and functioning on its own does it become a person in its own right.

And I have three kids, so don't tell me I'll feel different once I have one.

Edit -- yes, a parasite.

par·a·site –noun

1. an organism that lives on or in an organism, known as the host, from the body of which it obtains nutriment.

While in the womb, a fetus is parasitic in nature.
