My dad has schizophrenia and im starting to have delusions (visual and auditory). Also sometimes I feel like something is touching me and I have had sleep problems. I also have mood swings and speaking gibberish. These problems have been occuring since I was a 5 year old.

Are you under the care of a psychiatrist? If you aren't that will be your very next step. Don't delay....it can't be cured but it can be treated. Good luck to you.

Well, of course not only am I not a doctor, I also don't know you or your circumstances at all. BUT based on what you describe I would see a psychiatrist right away. I mean today if possible, or as soon as one is available. As your Dad's doc for a referral (she probably cannot treat a family member of an existing patient).
Shizophrenia has a strong genetic aspect. I know it's scary, but my sister has a form of schizophrenia and she is fine and doing well on medications. They know so much more now about this disorder and can help people function and thrive.

With schizophrenia in the family your delusions could mean you may also have a tendency towards this disorder.
For your peace of mind or the treatment you may need you should consult a specialist. Correct management of a condition (no matter what it is) makes it much easier to live with and control.
