Today I posted on my 360 guidelines for Bible Study! Are they yours?

Do you know WHO TEACHES YOU WHEN you study the Bible?

(John 16:13-14-15) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

(John 16:14) He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

(John 16:15) All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Do you WANT... To Know GOD? Then you have to study His Word!

(1Samel 3:21) And Jehovah appeared again in Shiloh. = = For Jehovah revealed Himself = = to Samuel in Shiloh = = by the Word of Jehovah.

GOD.... Will reveal Himself to... YOU... Through His WORD!

Do you know how to study the BIBLE? Also there is FREE BIBLE SOFTWARE here... www.e-sword.net With NT and OT Original Languages!

Thanks, R

Dear RR,

Excellent question! Thank you for asking.

I have been reading the Bible from cover-to-cover nearly every year for the past 15 years. I keep learning new things each year and I know without a doubt that it is the Holy Spirit Who is teaching me.

I have not used Bible software for studying yet. Rather I've been reading my own copies of the Bible in various translations and formats.

Last year I read The Daily Bible in Chronological Order. This year I am once again reading The Daily Walk Bible. Today's reading covered Nehemiah 1 & 2. The "Your Daily Walk" portion was exactly what I needed to start my day because it was a discussion of prayer life.

I consider reading God's Word to be the BEST thing I've done in my life. I just wish I hadn't waited until my life was falling apart at the seams to start doing it.

For His glory,
JOYfilled

I study using a good ol King James Version and a Strongs Exausted Concordance which has every word in the Bible and can take you back to the original Hebrew or Greek meaning of words used. The Holy Spirit guides you but God does say to study to show thyself approved.

Read the Books in order, cover to cover.

All of this page flipping is just editing on the fly, used to deceive people about the real contents of the books.

Most converts to Atheism are former Christians who actually read the books in order, cover to cover and saw how ridiculous it all is.

Yes I know. The Holy Spirit guides me everyday through the imagery and symbolism and common phrases in the Bible and their meaning in spiritual truth. I read the bible along both literal and figurative lines in spiritual truth. The Bible must be read along both of these lines to see the full spiritual truth anyways.
