I recently switched from Digital to Dish Network. I have my main receiver (TV1) in the master bedroom, TV2 is in my living room. TV2 won't work without TV1 being on, and when I switch channels from TV1, TV2 changes as well. Is there a way to fix this so the person in my living room doesn't have to watch what I'm watching? I've tried to find the answers in their monster sized manual but can't figure it out.

Make sure the set-top box is in dual-TV mode (TV2)
The box has two tuners, so either you watch program A and record program B, or TV1 watches program A and TV watches program B.
The "second" TV (living room) needs to use the second (RF) remote. That remote operates the TV even though you are in a different room.
Don't be afraid to call Dish support.
