find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Most likely...Your diet. You can do all the cardio you want, but if you consume more calories than you expand you won't lose the fat. 1.Go online, look up a Basal Metabolic Rate calculator and put in your stats. 2. Multiply that number by 1.5- for your level of activity. 3. Subtract 500- this new number will be the calories that you consume everyday. 4. Break up those calories in 5-6 meals. 5. Add some weight lifting to gain some muscle mass- this will keep your body from burning lean muscle mass instead of fat. 6. Do your cardio after you lift weights- you will burn more fat that way. Good luck.

You are not doing enough. For weight loss results you have to work out everyday according to a fitness expert. I do cardio every night anywhere from 30minutes to 50, I have a elliptical trainer at home and I have gone down in weight and toned a lot. I know that is probably not what you wanted to hear but it is the truth. Try it and see what happens. Also no junk food , I dont snack even though I work it off,

It's worked wonders for me.

If you're working out you may actually gain a little at first, because muscle weights more than fat and you're building muscle (at least if you're sore a day or two after working out - it's microscopic tears in your muscles that leak calcium that causes the soreness - the muscle has to tear to grow) And the more muscle you get the more fat you'll burn.

You should really try to add some weight training to your routine and typically you need to do about 30 minutes of exercise a day or 20 minutes 3 to 5 times a week.

It all comes down to burning more calories than you take in.

3500 calories = 1 lbs of fat

Good Luck!

Two things - Exercise alone won't cause weight loss. You also have to cut calories. Also, if you were really unfit when you started exercising, you are building muscle, which weighs a lot less than fat, so notice if your clothes are fitting better. This would mean you are actually accomplishing your goal. Once you have stopped creating muscle, you should start to lose weight.

Make sure you're cutting calories, bad fat and up your fiber intake. Also, try a little weight training. It really does help.

excersise alone wont do it. you need to change your diet as well. cut back on your calories, including unecessary snacks. you can keep your meal size, just try healthier alternatives.
