Eltunel is 100% right about the hand wraps. I remember that and it is true. You know, I really used to love him as a fighter. But he had no real heart. When he lost against Hopkins, instead of thinking about 160 being to heavy a weight, he retired like a baby. The only reason he took on Hopkins is because he thought he could beat up on an old man... he was wrong. he returned and fought 2 tomato cans then fought Ronald Wright, oops. He lost and cried about it and retired... again. It reminds me of playing baseball with my friends as a kid. We grew up fairly poor, we didn't ALL have our own bat, so we shared. There seems to always be the little snotty kid who gets called "out", whines, and then goes home taking the ball away because he can't stand losing. That is Trinidad, a cry baby. When I started wrestling, one of the first things my dad taught me, is when you compete, you WILL lose. And when you lose, if you go out like a man, it'll make you better. In my wrestling days, I lost, and it hurt my feelings. But it fueled me and I did better next time. I loved rematching against people who beat me. Think about The Greatest, if he retired after Frazier, would we still call him The Greatest? With out saying his name you know who I am talking about. Trinidad is a cry baby punk, he can take his ball and go home. We don't need him to enjoy boxing. Go find some new friends "Tito", I wouldn't pay $1 to watch you fight anybody. If he had heart, maybe we'd be clammoring for Trinidad vs Mayweather tonight.

yes, he retired due to being ashamed cause he was outboxed bad by wright. but he has nothing to be ashamed of. his manager made a mistake matching him up with winky especially after just 1 fight from a long layoff. i would like to see his first fight against ike quartey. than i would like to see him against sugar shane. trust me these fight would be all time great matches

Trinidad is just a cheater who used illegal handwraps for most of his fights until Hopkins discovered him and put an end to his fake career.

yes,one of my favorites. wish he wouldnt have retired.he was exciting to watch . i think if he would have gotten a trainer who could teach him better on how to handle the real slick boxers he would have faired better against Wright and Hopkins.i think having his father as his trainer limited him,and he knew that ,but didnt want to make a switch so retired.he was a great fighter could probably be a champion again if he wanted, could knock out anybody if he could hit them.
