I've been sort of reading (I skip chapters that bore me lol) The Lost Books of the Bible. It's interesting to see the legends that people wrote about Jesus.
But I've sort of taken a break from serious reading ... my mind needs the rest! I just finished "The Challengers" by Grace Livingston Hill, a fiction book. She was a Christian who wrote over 100 books at the turn of the century, and reading her books always makes me feel good :)

Currently reading an abridged edition of St. Augustine's "City of God". Not a light read by any means, since he digresses a lot, but so far it's very interesting especially in light of the historical context of the Roman empire on the verge of collapse.

The Voice In My Head, /by H.L. Wright
it is filled with life affirming poetry (mostly christian) but also in a way that I believe non christians can relate to. it takes the reader wherever they want to go and brings them right back.
and the angel on the cover is fantastic. there are poems about adultry, family relations, granparents, race relations, katrina, knowing ones-self etc, etc, everyone I know that has read this book, raves about it.

Angels A to Z (More like an encyclopedia really) It always amazes me to see how much people think they know. Were do they get this kind of information from? I think when we die some of us are going to be really shocked by the outcome. Peace to you.

I'm reading Pathways to Bliss by Joseph Campbell right now. I've formed no opinion of it yet.
