Maybe i'v never noticed it before, but it seems that very recently there has been a lot of prejudice about what other people believe. If someone goes out and says "I'm a Jew", online, then it seems that everybody rallies against that person. (FYI, I'm a Christian)
Please dont bother saying anything in response to this quesion if you are going to make fun of me. Thank You!

Zaber, good luck with the responses.

The dumping on others here has more to do with the type of individual that dumps than it does with any type of religion or spirituality or people with neither. I have been on many other forums where people behave decently and are respectful and tolerant of one another.

I am an atheist and by the way I agree with you. I do have problem with organized religions and with certain individuals that claim to be one thing but have words and actions which would suggest that they are otherwise. I am of the live and let live set. I will always defend my positioned if challenged but even this can be done with great passion and without tearing down the individual. Many people either just want to argue or they like to stir things up for the sake of drama. Either way, all I would say to you is believe what you believe and always be true to it. I respect the christian that lives as a christian much more than I do the one that want to stand around and pass judgments against jews and homosexuals and muslims etc. I do not believe in a Jesus that was the son of god as a do not believe in a god. But it seems to me the Jesus spoken of in the Bible would welcome anyone to his table and so should the true christian. I would and a christian I am not.

I had been raised in a STRICT Christian family environment for all of my adolescent years and believe that religious people STRONGLY believe what they are saying. It is very persuading and CULTISH. I had to take a step back when I became an adult and deprogram my mind and ask myself what is right and wrong about religion. I'm still taking time out to find the answer and have not been back to church since then. I find religion is very mind controlling and it is easy to get sucked in because people use a guilt approach to REEL YOU IN. Hope this helps.

This question gets asked once a day. Everyone has a pretty answer but it still happens, which is sad.
Ppl have the human need to be right. To be superior. To conquer. You can't change a millinea worth of thinking in 100 years which is what we have tried to do.
That being said and KNOWING this, we as humans should do something about it. Your God won't care about the message you spread if its done with anger and hate.

I'm a christian too and, unfortunately, there will always be those who believe they belong to the one true religion and try to engage others in disputes. I believe in the Hindu concept that respects others' beliefs and who humbly state that they, the Hindus, will step aside and let all other faiths enter the kingdom of heaven first, while we all know that many christians would push to the front of the line!

They are probably not comfortable with themselves and unhappy with they're own religion so they have to bash someone else's beliefs. IGNORANCE is still one of the many evils plaguing this world today. The more you understand something, the more you are willing to accept it. KNOWLEDGE kills IGNORANCE!

I really don't know why. Maybe it's because if other people see someone else that believes something different, they feel mad because something in their brain tells them that they think they're above you, so you automatically start railing against them.( Whoa, that was a physchadelic moment. Thanks for asking, man!)
