I took hydrocodone last night to get to sleep, and I had the worst time ever! I felt good, I just couldn't go to sleep.

Your doseage could be to high for your body. If you dont really have true pain and just used it to help you sleep then sometimes if can have the reverse affect.

Medicines are funny things, they do different things to different people. Hydrocodone (name for Vicodin) always puts me right to sleep. Other people take them and love it for the good feeling it gives them. Other people I know can't take them at all because it makes them feel so sick they actually throw up. It all has to do with the dosage and your body makeup I think, like the way someone could drink vodka and be a happy drunk yet someone else could drink the same thing same amount yet be a mean bast**d.

Yes, my boyfriend has the exact same problem with Hydrocodone. The pain is relieved but he tosses and turns all night. Everyone reacts differantly to medications, especially pain medications. It should be easy for your doctor to prescribe the right one for you now that he knows what the Hydrocodone does to you.

does me the same way and my mom and my doc. It is just a opposite reaction in your system. don't worry about it , take during the day., if you have to take it at all
