I don't really have a favorite. Or maybe it's better to say that I have lots of them. Ask me again next week and my favorite may have changed. When I I was in College, I liked good old Genesis 1:1--when God creates. When school seemed like it would never end, I switched to the other end of the book, to Revelation 22:20: Come Lord Jesus. Come and take me away from this misery!
At this very point in time I'll go with this one, Deuteronomy 10:16, where God tells his chosen, beloved, but stubbornly wayward people to "Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no longer stubborn." Circumcise ... What a metaphor you know? The circumcision of the penis was supposed to be an outward sign of an inward change, but, like many things in religious circles, it just became another empty ritual. The circumcision of the heart marks a change in God's relationship to mankind from fear-based to love-based. God says, basically, "The outward sign is nice, but I really just want you to love me and act right because you want to, not because you're afraid of punishment." Cool stuff!

It's actually two that are together.
I John 3: 1 & 2 Behold, what matter of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Beloved, now are we the sons od God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Where is says when he shall appear translates to when he is revealed.
When Jesus is revealed to us. Not just salvation but really knowing who God is and the mind of God, we shall be like him, not the savior, but in power.
We shall be able to heal the sick, and raise the dead. And to demonstrate Jesus Christ for the glory of God. Imagine how many souls could be saved if christian we more like Jesus.
I have a way to go before I get to this place. But I know it is possible by the Word of God.
