I am 66 and have always had low blood pressure. I have also always (since I was 5) gone to a Chiropractor where ever I lived.

Interestingly enough in the Tampa Tribune the other day I saw an article about a High Blood pressure study that was done on 80 people, all were given Chiropractic adjustments.
All were off their blood pressure meds.

Forty got an adjustment that included adjusting the Atlas (the top two vertebrae in the spine) and 40 got an adjustment the DID NOT include the adjustment to the Atlas. None were made aware of the difference in the treatment BEFORE it was done. Even I was amazed.

Amazingly enough the ones with the Atlas adjustment, had their blood pressure drop to normal. The ones without that adjustment had no change in the blood pressure.

At least now I know why I have never had high blood pressure. Nor does anyone in out family since we all see the Chiropractor with some regularity or as needed.

Sorry I cannot actually answer your question as I have never seriously learned what the danger points are.

Think about doing this. Good Luck

YES! that is considered hypertensions.. if you are not currently on a medication for blood pressure control.. you should be! If you are.. I think it need's to be adjusted....

Did you know the loss of even 10 pounds can make a HUGE difference in BP.....

And increased BP is the number one cause of stroke.

I would say it's borderline, but not dangerous, no. Try going for gentle walks or swimming because exercise can help reduce your blood pressure. Don't worry too much, but if you are, get it checked again in a couple of weeks and it if is any higher, perhaps discuss some medication.

I agree that you are borderline and should start taking care of yourself better. I know of a few people that have high blood pressure and were on meds but then they started drinking a juice called Tunguska Blast and have found that this has helped them tremedously that they either lowered their dosage or stop taking meds. Now they are not claiming that it is a cure, but it has helped them. For more info, check out www.tblast.com.excelwizely or let me know if you have any quesitons.

Its not dangerous but, it is a bit high. Are you taking blood pressure tablets? Dont get stressed. This will make it worse.

Potentially, yes. You should be on medication; the diastolic (lower) number should be 80 or below. Your heart is working too hard against the arteries.

yes that is a high blood pressure. you didn't say if you were on blood pressure medicine. you need to go to the doctor and let him/her know what your pressure readings are. it is a good idea to also monitor your pressure readings regularly yourself. go to the doctor sweetie
