check your RAM, disk space, defragment, etc.
Or just use OpenOffice Impress, which is free and crashes less often.

Perhaps you do not have enough RAM. Verify available RAM in Task Manager. Temporary solution would be to stop unnecessary programs to free up RAM. Permanent solution is to add RAM.

Depending on your version do a repair or re-install, download all the updates.

clean your disk space ,defragment your hard drive
upgrade your Physical memory or RAM.
