If you believe God is just a figment of the imagination you are on
a very slippery slope. Read the bible with an open mind and
you will see that God is giving us the opportunity to be in
communion with Him. He took the sins of the world on his own shoulders so that we might have eternal life. All you need to do is believe he is who he claims to be and that he died on the cross for your salvation arose from the dead and is in heaven.

But we did.
Read the prophecies in Daniel. Compare that with history. There is a +1.00 correlation coefficient.
Read the books of Moses, and look for scientific facts, e.g. quarantine, circumcision on the EIGHT day, sewage disposal, etc. You will find that MODERN science is only now catching up.
I hope these two examples resolve the difficulty for you.

My God lives with me every moment of every day, he's not in my imagination like you seem to believe in. He was with me through two tours in 'Nam and kept me company through many nights that I thought I would die.
I never heard one man say he didn't believe in God that was in the thick of the fighting with us and, I saw every man holding the Chaplin's hand while they passed on, praying to God. There can't be to many of you out there, your a dying race. I feel sorry for you, not to have some hope of an afterlife.

God is real. God is God no matter what you think of Him. I understand that it is hard to understand the whole concept when you do not have the Holy Spirit guiding you.
Jesus is well and alive and His spirit is within us. He is on the job, He is on His throne. He will do what He aid He was going to do. I find my purpose in Him. : )

As stated in your last question, He is not in my imagination. Oh and if He chose to do a table dance, I would not presume to question Him.
