taken, does the camera still reliable? It's for sale for US$200. What other factors shall I consider?

The number of shots matters because the 350D is built to last for roughly 50.000 pictures. After that, you're looking at a $300 shutter repair. Obviously, 3500 actuations is nothing.
Other things to look for are if the LCD works, if lenses attach smoothly, the general condition (a quick visual inspection of the body), if the flash works, and if a couple of test shots look okay when you blow them up on a computer monitor - the camera's LCD screen is too small to be sure.
$200 sounds like a really good price.

3500 shots is not a very big number......go ahead get it. But, test the camera fully before buying........all the buttons should be perfect condition and the LCD monitor should be checked thoroughly.......you can as well get the camera checked with some pros if you know anyone.
