Let's say I have a picture. I would like to know where it comes from. Or a photograph of someone, eg a movie star.
Is there a program or software that could find exactly the same picture on the internet? And then of course the information.
Sometimes in the movies the FBI (or something similar) has a picture, then they go into the computer and they can find the person.

In the movies, it's special effects and storyline.
As far as I know, there is no such program. There are face recognition software, but that is different than what you are talking about. If the photo has certain EXIF info on it, then there might be some EXIF database, but I am not aware of one at this time.

If there is software and a database to do this, you can bet it's not available to the general public, and that it is probably extremely expensive.
