My parents are Christian, they won't allow me to change religion.

Children usually follow the spiritual path of the parents, at least for a while. If my parents had not been Christian, I don't know if I would be on that path. But even now, at age 55, I continue to develop spiritually, albeit not the same way some Christians would approve.

My parents had no real religion. My father was a very angry man and when he died at the age of 47, I really don't think God was a part of his life. My mother believes in God, but she is more spiritual than religious. She does not worship anythng or anyone, but she has a strong passion for nature and crystals. I really do not think there is any one religion that encompasses all of her beliefs. That being said, there was no real religious structure for me to follow and becoming a Muslim was completely my decision. Even if they had been Christians, I would still be a Muslim. I am very independent of my family and if I did not look just like the rest of them, I would be certain that I was adopted. :-P

i'm niether a christian nor a muslim but i jst want to tell you religion doesnt matter. at first , man didnt have a religion we should remember that. all religions try to achieve the same thing. and, if parents are christians , the child can be a muslim. i saw many such cases. but i think children remain in and follow the same path of parents. there's no difference between people of different religions. i believe that. if i would be a muslim i would change my religion when my parents turn christians.

Islam teaches us that "there is no compultion in religion"
If you are exposed to Islam though, and see light in it then nothing stops you from becomming a muslim. Invitation to Islam is however encouraged.

Islam, especially these days is available all around the globe through technology, media and the word of mouth. Its amazing that certain anti-muslim societies are doing all they can to spread poor images about Islam but it remains as the fastest growing globally.

Yes. I would be muslim if my parents were christian. That is if if I saw and recognised the light and beauty of Islam.

ISLAMS WELCOMES YOU !!!

My parents are Christians, but me I'm Muslim. I used to be Christian too, but all the negative things said about Islam in the media made me learn about it. The more I learned, the more I saw Islam is the truth.
