It seems everybody wants a picture of their stupid cat as their personal 'avatar'. It has long been known that there is a direct correlation between cat ownership and low intelligence - maybe this is the answer.?? We just don't know.

yes good point, cats are stupid . maybe people actually think that cats like them, and thats why they assosiate with them. personally im a dog man, much more intelegent and have good sence of danger. show me a cat that will warn you if your about to fall down a hole ! why dont we have sniffer cats ? and guide cats and resuce cats?

Why is it you don't have anything but a shadow for your picture, are you not smart enough to know how? or do you like looking like a shadow of no one? Could you be jealous because of your low intelligence? and if you think there could be a direct correlation between cat ownership and low intelligence, then why are you even asking a question in the cat category, could be contagious and lower your intelligence even more. I think cats are probably more intelligent than you, maybe this is the answer?? I think we do know...

Anything is better than your grey, dull, boring avatar. I don't have a cat anymore but I love to see animals on people's avatars - much cuter than a human face or something else.
Why do you deliberately try to hurt people's feelings?
Do you have an utterly boring life?
They are questions I'd like to know the answers to.

I have 2 cats and that's why I call myself cats. The people with cat avatars are cat lovers! Stop hating! Leave them alone!
