When Moses came, his people first rejected, then lately believed in him.
When Jesus came after moses, the people who used to believe in Moses, rejected Jesus, but believed him lately.
Similarly, When Prophet Mohammed came after Jesus, why the Christians are still not believing in him?
Each Previous prophet had adviced his people to accept the next prophet. And Each Next Prophet confirmed the Previous one.

WHAT MUSLIMS THINK ABOUT PROPHET JESUS(ISA)
What muslims think about jesus (essa) (peace be upon him) Jesus (called "Essa" in Arabic) Islam honors all the prophets who were sent to mankind. Muslims respect all prophets in general, but Jesus in particular, because he was one of the prophets who foretold the coming of Muhammad. Muslims, too, await the second coming of Jesus. They consider him one of the greatest of Allah's prophets to mankind. A Muslim does not refer to him simply as "Jesus," but normally adds the phrase "peace be upon him" as a sign of respect. No other religion in the world respects and dignifies Jesus as Islam does. The Qur'an confirms his virgin birth (a chapter of the Qur'an is entitled "Mary"), and Mary is considered to have been one of the purest women in all creation. The Qur'an describes Jesus' birth as follows: "Behold!' the Angel said, God has chosen you, and purified you, and chosen you above the women of all nations. Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him, whose name shall be the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, honored in this world and in the Hereafter, and one of those brought near to God. He shall speak to the people from his cradle and in maturity, and he shall be of the righteous. She said: "My Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?' He said: "Even so; God creates what He will. When He decrees a thing, He says to it, 'Be!' and it is." [3:42-47] Muslims believe that Jesus was born immaculately, and through the same power which had brought Eve to life and Adam into being without a father or a mother. "Truly, the likeness of Jesus with God is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, and then said to him, 'Be!' and he was." [3:59] During his prophetic mission, Jesus performed many miracles. The Qur'an tells us that he said: "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by God's leave. And I heal the blind, and the lepers, and I raise the dead by God's leave." [3:49] Muhammad and Jesus, as well as the other prophets, were sent to confirm the belief in one God. This is referred to in the Qur'an where Jesus is reported as saying that he came: "To attest the law which was before me, and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden you; I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear God and obey me." [3:50] Prophet Muhammad emphasized the importance of Jesus by saying: "Whoever believes there is no god but Allah, alone without partner, that Muhammad is His messenger, that Jesus is a servant and messenger of God, His word breathed into Mary and a spirit emanating from Him, and that Paradise and Hell are true, shall be received by God into Heaven. [Bukhari]

Are you asking why Christians do not follow the Prophet Mohammed? I think if they did they wouldn't be Christians. Much like Jews believe in the old testament, but don't follow the teachings of Christ.
It's all just part of the wonderful and diverse world we live in.

I believe your wrong in your order of Prophets. Jesus said he was the Alpha and Omega, the first and last Prophet.
I believe you need to study your Bible more closely.

Jesus was more than a prophet. He is a savior, a Messiah. The only one who was expected to come to DIE for the sins of humankind, until then there is no redemption. Thats why those who dont believe that their sins will be forgiven still take pain in their body. It is written that,
"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that he will forgive your sins."
There is a freedom associated with this that shows the love of God. Thats why people with the real heart to know God just react to the love of God where He had sent His son to die on the cross. Its purely God's love for mankind.
Though I was born to a christian family, I dint understand this truth, because I lived in sins to which I was bonded. But recently, by the love God had for me, He showed me His grace and I knew that God is real and those who accept Jesus and know that His death will wipe away our sins will taste the abundance of life.

We Muslims believe, that Jesus was one of the mightiest messengers of God that he was the Christ, that he was born miraculously without any male intervention (which many modern-day Christians do not believe today), that he gave life to the dead by God's permission and that he healed those born blind and the lepers by god's permission. In fact, no Muslim is a Muslim if he or she does not believe in Jesus!

This is a silly question.
Obviously when Jesus came, some people weren't interested in him. So we still have Jews today.
And when Mohammed came around, most Jews and Christians weren't interested in him. So we still have Jews and Christians.
You take an awfully single-minded approach to the history of religion.

in response to punter's answer:
Jesus said-
''I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and Last.'' revelation 22:6
''I am the Light of the world.'' John 8:12
''most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the Bread of life.'' john 6:46-47
''most assuredly, I say to you. before abraham was, I AM.'' john 7:58
there are dozens, if not hundreds of verses in the bible that refer to Christ Jesus as Lord, and dozens more wherein Jesus refers to Himself as Lord. these are all examples from ONE author of the bible.
