According to the atheist position that Christians are idiots, brain washed and in need of therapy-------Then Einstein, Newton, Copernicus, Robert Doyle---most atheists arent smart enough to know who Robert Doyle is-----And lets not forfet the current professor of Harvard University Physics department they must all be brainwashed, deluded, idiots like the rest of us believers. Einstein said "Science without religion is lame." If you dont know that you have not read, and are pretending to know something. What do you think?

Atheists claim that there are no gods/God. This is a HUGE claim. As huge as the universe. If they know THAT much (everything) that makes THEM gods, as god is omniscient. In that case, they are gods, so there still ARE gods. In either case, the statement that there is no god is invalid.
And yes, they do treat us who believe in God as if we are retarded, uneducated, brain-washed, two-year old children.
Of course, there are numerous reputable scientists, currently living, who believe in God. Among them are astronomers, physicists, and archaeologists, just to name a few disciplines.

Einstein was, in fact, an atheist, so you started with a Big Lie. Next, Newton & Galileo lived in times when any professions of atheism could easily get you killed. Ben Stein is the farthest thing from a scientist, so you told another Big Lie. Lying for jeezus must be on today's agenda. Got proof for your claim about Agassiz ? In any case, you're down to one out of your five. If thats the real rate of theistic foolishness that you wish to claim, go right ahead. The FACT remains that among educated people and scientists, atheism is more common than in the average population. Deal with it. And, read another book, this time, NON fiction.

1. All designs imply a designer
2. There is great design in the universe.
3. Therefore there must be a Great Designer of the unverse.
We might also put it this way:
1. Signs of intelligence always imply an Intelligent being.
2. There are great signs of intelligence in the universe.
3. Therefore, there must be a Great Intelligence who created
the universe.
Billions of people all down through the centuries have had a personal relationship with God, how can anyone have a relationship with someone, if that person does not exist.

Albert Einstein believed in Spinoza's god for at least some of the time. Isaac Newton was a deist. This is different from a theist because theism means that God is involved on a day-to-day basis. Deism means that he set everything up and then left it running. It's related to the word "divine", but "theism" is related to the word "theocratic", for example.

Einstein just hang it up, I'm sure you will read plenty of quotes about how he was basically a pantheist. If not, consult my question here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvQJbu2gV7IqaVanst80O7Dsy6IX?qid=20070503114754AAUkoe1
Also it's good to finish quotes:
"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind." That is the REAL Einstein quote.
Newton was a theist, but I have NEVER seen any atheist claim otherwise. Which is more than the theists I've seen on this board.

This is a typical theistic deception. Refute a claim never made by the other side.
By the way, your quote mining is getting worse. You truncated the already out-of-context quote with a period that wasn't there.
"I cannot conceive of a genuine scientist without that profound faith. The situation may be expressed by an image: science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."
If your sole goal is to show that atheism can only be combated by deception, you are doing a good job.

surprisingly enough , humans can have an i.q, and yet be allowed to make-believe in fake religious oriented cults at the same time, what occurred to persons being listed, is only cause of being imposed upon while growing up, by deceptive and corrupt foundations, might as well use columbus in this heap, mans world is flat, but the earth is round, be free, live life,...

Don't forget Kepler, a dedicated Christian, but an atheist according to the atheists, because he believed in astrology. Rewriting history is important if you want an atheist state like communist Russia and China.

It is not the atheist position that Christians are idiots, brain-washed, or in need of therapy.
The atheist position is this and this alone: There is no deity.
That's it. That's all there is to it.
Nice strawman you've got there. Maybe you should start a farm. You've already got the scarecrow.

"I cannot conceive of a God who rewards and punishes his creatures, or has a will of the kind that we experience in ourselves. Neither can I nor would I want to conceive of an individual that survives his physical death; let feeble souls, from fear or absurd egoism, cherish such thoughts. I am satisfied with the mystery of the eternity of life and with the awareness and a glimpse of the marvelous structure of the existing world, together with the devoted striving to comprehend a portion, be it ever so tiny, of the Reason that manifests itself in nature."
