It's been awhile since we had a dog but her favourite place during the day when we were out at work was under the bed...I guess she felt safe there! Then if we were home she would flop in a corner of whatever room we were in, out of the way of feet...as long as she was in the same room she was happy! Trouble was, she wanted in the bathroom at bath-time too! I guess dogs just like to be in on things.

They both have several favorite spots.
One has arthritis and likes either his big fluffy bed,the couch{either end} or in bed with us.
The other has a blanket under the didning room table, sleeps in the other dogs big fluffy bed or on the floor next to the bed in his bed.
They both like to strech out on the kitchen floor which is always cool.

I have a rottweiler...and he has to sleep on the bed while my mum is at work...if we shut the door he will lie outside of it until someone opens it, sometimes for the whole day! At night he sleeps on the couch with his favourite polar fleece blanket over him and a pillow under his head, i think he is sooo human like sometimes haha. Also sometimes he likes to lie on the trampoline, like the little small, mini, round one.

he has a few places. when we're not there its a choice of 2 sofas! when we r there, he'll pretend to be a good boy and sleep in his bed, or the floor, which will be either nxt to the tv, so we cant change the channel as his body is in way of the pyramid (im sure he does this on purpose!) or nxt to the sofa or if ure sitting on the floor he will actually pretend that hes tripped over, and do a backflip and land "accidently" on ure lap! lol. hes brilliant!! :) xxx

Actually it's quite sweet, if he's sleeping during the day he always has to be touching you - head or paw on your foot. At night he lies on the floor parallel to the bed. I bought him lots of vet bed as that's what he was taught to lie on as a puppy, but it's now the one place you can be guaranteed he won't sleep!

Harry has lots! In the garden he likes to lie on a particular patch of lawn but in the house he likes one chair or his bed near the fire. In the bedroom he likes our bed, obviously, but if he gets too hot he moves to the rug beside the bed. It's great when he moves to the rug, he's a big dog and likes to use my leg as a pillow!

I have two dogs and the only thing I would say about were they sleep is that it doesn't matter were it is as long as me or my wife are there they seem happy. I think they like the company or something. could be the pack thing.

We crate our dog at night but during the day leave it open and when she's tired she just goes in her crate to take a nap. Although sometimes she likes to lay by our coffee table with our youngest cat :)

One of my Rotties has to be next to me at all times. The other one insists on sleeping in our tiny front bathroom with the door closed (I guess it's like a den?). He's taught himself how to open the door, so he's never stuck in there.
