The mom, a 3 year old Labrador Retriever named Goldie, had a litter of adorable chocolate and gold Labradoodle puppies. The male is a 6 year old chocolate Poodle named Robbie and he is ADC registered but no papers as of yet after 4 months from the American Dog Club to prove his registration. Will I still be able to AKC register the Labradoodle puppies?

Great. So in other words, you want to know if a reputable kennel club like the AKC will recognize rubbish like mutts? NO, THEY WON'T. You can only register a litter if both sire and dam are AKC registered and actually have their papers. Spay Goldie, neuter Robbie and never breed dogs again - especially mutts with no papers. What the heck is the American Dog Club? There is no such registry. If there were, I doubt it's legitimacy.

Labradoodles are NOT a breed..they are a mix..they can NOT be registered with any legit registry such as AKC..even if they were a recognized breed they still could not be AKC registered (or registered in any other legit registry) since neither parent is AKC registered (or registered with any other legit registry). Both parents are registered in what are called scam registries. The ADC and APR are not legit registries they are registries for byb/mills in other words irresponsible breeders..these types of registries are made by pople to con people into thinking they have a registered or purebred dog when 1) they don't have a registered dog 2) have absolutely no proof the dog is purebred (and often times they really aren't). Dogs registered in these types of registries most usually aren't/can't be registered with a legit registry for various reasons or are registered with one but were sold on limited registration and spay/neuter contracts but the owner decided to breed and go against the contract or the breeder themselves are often suspended from doing business with a legit registry.

Sorry, the AKC will not register MUTTS which is what your Labradoodle pups are, and the so-called "registries" that the parents of the pups are registered with are BOGUS registries used by puppymills so that they can claim their dogs have "papers". Congratulations on being backyard breeders of mutts.

Good job on naming mom something creative like Goldie. The AKC will recognize puppies from AKC registered parents. They will not recognize halfbreed puppies from parents from two different registries.

Nope, no such thing as a "labradoodle" or "poodor", it's a mutt like any other crossbreed. But people pay lots of good money for them because they erroneously think they are "hypoallergenic", so why should you worry about bits of paper? Cash in on the idiots!

I don't think so. Parentsof the litter must be same breed and I do not believe the labradoodle is recognized by AKC

No, labradoodles aren't even a breed. It's just a name for a mix between a lab and a poodle. :]

Although Labradoodles are becoming widely popular, not only for regular pets, but also by Guide Dog Orginizations around the country, they are not yet reconized by the AKC.

Better to breed a cocker spaniel with a poodle. It's much more likely AKC would recognize a cockadoodle.

Im convinced AKC is name biased... :P
