Way ahead of you with the reading. I choose youtub because people don't seem read books outside of their belief system....
I have read about 3 of Sitchins books and waiting for 3 more. I am also making this my point of study over religious texts of the past. This data answers alot of questions the masses are not willing to face.

Come on people do your research before you write. Real life is stranger than fiction and it is time we start looking at the evidence. We are so quick to dismiss this data because it doesn't fit in our comfortable box.

I don't know, just read some books and see how they interpreted God and you'll find an answer for it!!!!!

Primitive cultures had no knowledge of Jesus. But what they did have is an inbuilt desire to worship. therefore they sort of worked it out for themselves. Their own experiences influenced what they did.
A man made idea that human sacrifice might please their 'made up' god, resulting in good crops etc, might very well have been continued after the first sacrifice resulted in a good year. Of this we are not sure, but logic would imply it.
It is only since Jesus' time that true information about the ONLY God has been available.
Not all the writers of the Old Testament knew what they were writing about. Even Daniel who had prophetic visions was told to simply write it down and it would be understood at a later time.
(Daniel 12:9-10) And he went on to say: “Go, Daniel, because the words are made secret and sealed up until the time of [the] end. 10Â Many will cleanse themselves and whiten themselves and will be refined. And the wicked ones will certainly act wickedly, and no wicked ones at all will understand; but the ones having insight will understand.
These days we have the situation where the true word of God is reaching the whole population of the earth.
J.W's preach it in 235 lands to people of ALL races.
Daniel's prophecies have at last been revealed.

He is just a man that is trying to explain the unexplainable. I don't think that we have been visited by other beings or do I believe in gods. I think that man has a great imagination and it has help him explain things that could not be explained.
Some will go along with this guy's interpretation of some ancient text. But I don't find it believable any more than the bible that was written by some men.
Sounds like Scientology to me.

Yes it is, and those who still believe in God are pretty primitive as well.
But not quite as primitive as people who just refer us to web-pages.
If you've got a point to make....tell us your point, encapsulate the article, precis it, and then ask your question.
Oh sorry, that would mean a bit of effort on your part, wouldn't it...sorry, didn't mean to wake you.

Different people see "God" in different things.
For instance, some people worship the Almighty Dollar.
Everyone has their own 'way', I suppose.
(The cruellest thought of all is that in 1000 years time, we'll be seen as primitives by the people of that time).

So atheists believe in UFOs, but not God. That's very selective beliefs in things that can't be proven.
