if you will read about the conversion of Paul you will have the answer, it is hard for them to listen to being told that them are being told that they are in sin, when Christians start showing the love of God and stop with the threats of Hell, when Christians start showing the peace of God, and and the benefits that come from believing in the true God, then our message will become more acceptable.

I imagine that if Muslims were trying to get school prayer and religious education added to taxpayer public schools they would receive as many complaints. If Muslims constantly tried to make an issue over their religious holidays, people would complain. If they made an issue of trying to make their beliefs a part of western politics, people would complain.People don't complain about the Muslims as much because people, in western countries anyway, don't have to deal with Muslims trying to make their beliefs a way of life for everyone.Last time I was driving down the highway I saw three signs for Christian churches.I have yet to see a Muslim sign.Last time I checked gays can't marry in the US because of "Christian morals" not "Muslim morals".Not that there is that much of a difference but it isn't the Muslims making an issue over gay marriage in the US.Last time I checked, there are not any Muslim programs like The 700 club on local channels.
People complain about what they have to deal with. But in the end, for Atheists anyway, it is all nonsense. But the focus is always going to be on something that personally affects people.

well some atheists do complain about islam..but they are mostly in europe....one reason you dont hear it as much is perhaps because in america Atheists dont feel constrained by an islamic society..but they may feel constrained by a christan society..but to be honest...i think your question is a bit of a red hearing..because i usually dont hear atheists "complain" about Christianity really. But, I will give you an answer that the right wingers will really love..and it is true in so far as the premise of your question is true...it may be that most atheists are secular liberals...so they have the general idea of not judging other cultures..so the extremes islam gets a free pass...but since they are in a Christian society....christianity does not..but again..i largly reject the fundemental truth of your question...so my final response is only a bit true in direct comparrison to how their is a bit of truth in what you say.

What Islam has that Christianity doesn't- a fairly small following in the States. Worry about demons at home before chasing after others.

There are fewer Muslims coming here lying about atheists, like you just did.
If you want to defend Christianity, you should start by being honest. When you Christians constantly lie about atheists, you invite the criticism of your religion.
Atheists complain about Christianity because of Christians' bad behavior - the lies and whining of the sort that you and several other Christians did in this very question. If you don't like the complaints, try acting like an honest adult and not a spoiled amoral child.

Because Islam is very reasonable and rational as God CAN NEVER faults, but for Christianity it is contradictory ,i mean this christianity nowadays not that one which was sent by prophet Jesus peace be upon him
look,Jeudiasm,Christianity and Islam are all desendants from the Abrahamic Faith ,so Islam is a completeion for the heavenly messages which was sent from God to humanity via his prophets peace be upon them all

The USA is a highly Christainized country, not Islamicized, therefore the focus of atheists is about Christian beliefs rather than Islamic. In both 'religions' the Abrahamic god is the same...when an atheist protests the existence of God, he/she is talking about all religions' gods, Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Hindu etc

Atheists in islamic countries probably have as much to say about that religion as atheists in christian countries have to say about christianity.
For myself, I don't have any religious belief, but I cannot comment much about Islam because I don't know anything about it.
However, despite your comment that atheists complain all the time about christianity, you need to know that most atheists could care less, unless they're answering a question like this or engaged in a debate about religion.

Comparitively speaking, there aren't that many Muslims here. They generally keep a low profile and don't constantly complain about being prevented from enshrining the beliefs of their religion into the law. They generally don't walk around telling others what they should believe in and yelling about how everyone's going to hell. It's not that there aren't a whole bunch of crazy Muslims in this world, it's just that not many of them come here to live. But we've got the biggest population of Christian lunatics in the world right here in our backyard, and so gee whiz if they aren't a more obvious target.

I'll give Islam this... there are far less contradictions in their book.
But then, their book is somewhat shorter, and one contradiction in the "word" of a deity taught to be perfect is enough to discredit the text.
As for "better" or "worse" they are the same to me... equally bad as systems of morality and belief.
