well, a crush.. is just.. like 'wow, you're cute' and you get all giggly happy. a crush either passes quickly.. or turns into full blown love.
a crush can start with the smallest thing.
a smile, a person doing something nice for you, just.. anything.
there is a reason behind everything.

good question.........I suppose it jus happens... when You find someone attractive you get a crush on them and then you find that you really want to talk to them.
but then again it could be both... If there is a reason behind it it's usually something like.
"he's so nice... I wish I could see him again" Kind of stuff

There is always a reason behind a crush as you put it.You can stop yourself is you want to from letting it get out of hand if your married. Most people chose to let their feelings run away with them giving no thought to the people they are about to hurt or destroy.

It happens for certain reasons, but those reasons are never exactly the same each time. Romance is not a reasonable thing.
