Clearly, you're not Muslim. I'm a Hindu, and my fellow citizens are being killed everyday in these bomb blasts. I don't believe terrorism has a religion. It's a system of thought&action. The entire world goes on linking terrorism to muslims, but doesn't anyone realize that by establishing that only muslims are terrorists, it makes it just as easy for non-muslims to participate in these actions? Because, at the end of the day, "******* muslims and their bombs!" is all that the angry people end up muttering. Nobody thinks twice to blame the non-muslims. I'm not claiming that terrorists aren't muslims. I'm just saying that when the country is faced with such atrocious events, it's not helpful to further divide the population on the basis of religion. Instead of alienating/castigating the muslim population, we should try to stay united and strong. Because all the terrorists wish to do is destroy our unity, and thereby destroy our nation. By giving into racism, we are practically surrendering to these terrorists. So next time a bomb blasts, don't think "Muslim", think "terrorist" or "psychopath who misinterprets his/her own religion", etc. If anything, try thinking about this from a Muslim's perspective: how would you feel if every time you declare your religion in public somehow or the other, a thousand eyes dart at you and glare at you with disgust and the swear words come so easily to their minds? And it's not because you're a muslim. &It's not because you're a bad person either. But it's because a chosen few lunatics are running around the world disrupting people's lives all in the name of YOUR religion. How would you feel?
