I heard that locks for love sells most the hair they get .

don't sell it you should donate it to locks of love they will take it and turn it in to a wig for cancer patients who cannot afford to get a wig of there own trust me after you do it you will fell so good about what you have done

If you need the money, then yeah. If you are planning on cutting it anyway and were going to if money was involved or not, I would donate it like the second answer said to locks for love, that hair would really help a little kid. [:
