You can definitely recover from one bad semester, especially if your fall semester went well. If the classes that you did poorly in are science or math classes (ones that are required for med/pharmacy school), then you should take them again either over the summer or next year. If they're core classes, then you'll probably be alright, as long as you don't screw up again. If you're really worried, though, take them over too. It'll be worth it in the long run.
If the reason you had a bad semester was personal, then hopefully those things will be better next year, so that you can focus on your school work. If you were having trouble with the work in general, then talk to your advisor to see if he/she can recommend any tutoring or other help.
Good luck! You can do it!!

It can be done. Just make sure that you don't have any more bad semesters. They may ask you why you had such a bad semester when you go to your interview for med/pharmacy school. As long as you show improvement and ALWAYS take a full course load, you can still get in (I did)

Sure, why not? Exactly why did you screw up? Sometimes freshman courses are pretty standard, and the courses dont appeal to a med/pharmacist. Good luck.

You certainly can.
Retake the courses over the summer, and do well in them. (Should be easier the second time around...)
You may have some explaining to do when you go for interviews, but I'm sure you'll handle it well. If the rest of your transcript looks good, you'll be fine.
Good luck!
