I'm sure that St. Bernadette had to suffer through a lot of people telling her to shut up, that she was just trying to get attention, or that she was going crazy. But she continued telling people about what she had been seeing. Also, she was treated poorly by some of the sisters in her convent, but remained patient and humble. She suffered terribly from respiratory illness, but kept her faith despite her illness and pain.
