pretty much of all my friends are girls, not cause im a fan of the ladies, but cause i relate to them more. Guys are just sort of heartless to me.
Anyways, Im going to Japan soon to see my girlfriend, but she works on weekends all day. So i wont have anything to do all weekend. So I plan to go visit my friends in Japan (which are girls). But my girlfriend gets a wee bit jealous when i mention my friends.
So how can i reasure her that they are ONLY friends and nothing more...and how can i guy have a girlfriend and friends as girls at the same time? And how can i go see my friends and not have her be jealous?

Thanks for your input

I had a similar problem with my boyfriend. I'm mainly friends with guys because i find most girls to be too competitive and catty for me.
I moved in with my bf after a long time. Yet when i'd go back to my hometown without him for holidays or anything i'd get the 20 questions every day and the attitude if i was going out with my guy friends. Or god forbid i didn't answer my cell the min it rang i got the jealousy conversation.
The only way i got him to get over it was to just tell him that they were my friends and had been for a very long time. That i was with him and that my friends were just that, friends. That he needed to learn to trust me and know that i wouldn't lie and say i was with friends and cheat on him.

Basically i had to tell him that i wasn't going to stop seeing my friends just for him. That i never asked him to stop hanging out with his friends and he shouldn't expect me to. That it was his insecurity that HE needed to work on. That my friends were going to stay friends even if it meant loosing him. Eventually he realized it wasn't worth breaking up over and learned to trust me.
So Good Luck!

beyond the reassurance, just tell here you were bored when you were with them, and all you could do was think about her. Also, make sure you never look at them, and she always is the one up. You have to do this if you are going to have friends of the opposite gender. P.S. guys aren't heartless, there tough, and Im proud of that.

Well try to have your gf get along with you friends, tell her that you're not interested in them, heck tell them you think they're ugly or something. You're girlfried just wants to hear that you won't cheat on her.

Guys and girls can so be friends. I'm a girl and I'm friends with guys and none of them have tried anything on me. Some do it in a joking manner but I know I'm just a friend.

If you've already reassured her, repeating doesn't help. Over time, she'll see you being just friends with your friends, that should demonstrate your trustworthiness. If she trusts you, she'll learn they're not a threat to her.

If she doesn't trust you - You're a guy with mostly girl friends, she's a girl who doesn't trust her boyfriend to have girl friends. That won't work.

No guarantees that you'll be able to have a happy ending here, but I would try to make sure that your girlfriend befriends your friends. This may make her feel a little more comfortable. Good luck.

simple. (if they r really only your frens as u hve said) den maybe u can arrange a day when u can go out in a group. yes! u your gf and your frens... together. prove to her they r only your frens and do some nice things to her on tat day.. buy her little gifts or feed her during meals, etc.. she'll love it... and when the next time u wanna go out wif your frens, don forget to ask her along.
