I am a Christian. But last year my bestfriend died she was a Christian as well. She was only 15 when she died. I was 13 but am now 14. But, she was a really great person and believed in God and everything. So why did God allow her to die? She died of an extremely sudden heart attack which no one knew was going to happen. God basically just decided to take her from us. Why does God allow bad things to happen to such good people? Why did he want to take MY bestfriend? She didn't do anything to deserve this. I just do not understand what kind of an awesome God could do this to a person. Thanks in advance.

Man allows bad things to happen

God created humans to live forever and be ruled by him in a peaceful happy paradise. Satan told Eve that she did not need God to tell her what to do--she could rule herself. If God were to intervene rather than allow the consequences for Eve's and Adam's disobedience, he would be helping Satan prove a false acusation against the kind of person he is. That would not be good because it would mean that people would continue disobeying and Angels would keep challenging God's right to rule over his creation. It must, instead, end with this instance so that God can get on with his plan to make us live forever and be happy in beautiful surroundings. God can undo all the bad effects of sin (like death and disease) and he will do that but not until this issue has been fully settled. I am so sorry that you miss your friend and are sad without her but she will be resurrected and when she is, will you be there to greet here?

This may seem weird to you, but if your friend was a Christian, then her death wasn't a bad thing.
I love Christian funerals because I know that's one more person who doesn't have to struggle in a fallen world any longer.

So, this sounds less like it's about her, and more about you, and the people she left behind, and that's perfectly alright to be grieving like you are.

Perhaps her death was meant to be a test of your faith. Perhaps it was to get you to think about the tough questions.

I'd recommend that you read the book of Job. The whole thing. He struggled with the same questions. But he didn't know the whole picture, and neither do you or I. Trust in the Lord anyway, even when what you can see doesn't match up with what you believe. Objective truth is like gravity - you can't see it, but surely you know it's there.

I truly am sorry for the pain you are suffering, but take comfort in the fact that she no longer can be tempted by the world.

I am very sorry for your pain and loss. May bee god took her before something worse could happen to her like cancer or some other disease, or she could have been struck by a car and ended up in a coma. He was sparing her, you and her family the pain of seeing her suffer. If she was to suffer on earth then her passing may bee a blessing in disguise. My mum passed away when i was 13 she died of a brain tumour. She suffered for 2 years. if we could have the knowledge and choice that she would get this or have a heart attack.......... what would we choose?? We don't get this choice because we don't know whats going to happen. If we knew when we, family or friends were going to die how would we handle that knowledge? i think it would drive most people crazy. I hope this helps in some way. Blessed be.

Because he gave us the right to choose. We have this world, and I'm sure that you knew that bad things happened before your friend died, and this world reflects the things that man inherited. We are promised a better way of life with God, and part of what Gos has promised will only come to pass after this world is over.

What we have to do is endure all things, because he gives us the strength to IF we trust him for what he promised. So trust him. If I can trust him, you can too.

The reason is that Adam and Eve misused their free will. They lost sight of the fact that they were not created to prosper apart from God and his laws. They decided to become independent of God, thinking that this would improve their lives. So they stepped outside the God-ordained limits of free will.—Genesis, chapter 3.

Why did God not just destroy Adam and Eve and start over with another human pair? Because his universal sovereignty, that is, his inalienable right to rule, had been challenged.

The question was: Who has the right to rule, and whose rule is right? His being almighty and the Creator of all creatures gives God the right to rule over them. Since he is all-wise, his rule is best for all creatures. But God's rule had now been challenged.

By man's becoming independent of God, another question was implied: Could humans do better if not ruled by God? The Creator certainly knew the answer, but a sure way for humans to find out was to allow them the total freedom they wanted. They chose that course of their own free will, so God permitted it.

Therefore, God has allowed man a free rein clear down to our day to show beyond any doubt whether human rule independent of him can succeed. Thus man has been able to choose between kindness and cruelty, between love and hate, between righteousness and unrighteousness. But he has also been confronted with the consequences of his choice: goodness and peace or wickedness and suffering.

I am soooo, so sorry for this! That must be so hard! You will be in my prayers tonight, promise! I'm really not sure why God allowed the death of your friend to happen, and maybe nobody will know completely until you get to Heaven, nut one thing I am sure of: God is good, He loves you and your friend more than either of you together could ever imagine.

Quit blaming God. We live in a fallen world. We have allowed Satan to become the god of this world and he is an enemy to all, especially Christians. Be glad that your friend is in Heaven now and you will see her again if you remain faithful unto Christ. Don't let Satan and his demons plant doubt in your mind. You are in a war, a war for your soul. Don't let the enemy win. It takes more than just believing in God. "The Devil and his demons believe in God and they even tremble." One must be "Born Again". God's Spirit living in them and being obedient to God's Word.

Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perish,
and no one takes it to heart;
the devout are taken away,
and no one understands
that the righteous are taken away
to be spared from evil.

2 Those who walk uprightly
enter into peace;
they find rest as they lie in death.

I don't know how you would feel about this. This is what Proverbs says:
Proverbs 14:10
Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy.
