of the world....yet people will still not believe the words of the prophets? Don't start with a bunch of evil men wrote the Bible to control people...that's absolutely rediculous. Men may use the Bible to try and control people in a bad manner, but that's the fault of sinful men, not the scriptures. IF YOU HAD READ THE BIBLE YOU WOULD SEE THIS. You say correctly that the prophets talked about Jesus. And Jesus would tell the Pharisees that, and they still didn't get it. So what is it then, if knowledge of the scriptures isn't enough. The Pharisees knew the scriptures, and the Teachers of Religious Law knew the scriptures and most of them didn't believe.
So again, what is it then that brings people to know what God said if it isn't knowledge? I think that the answer to that is: God chooses who he wants.
From the Old Testament God would choose a remnant of his people to keep close to him. Elijah found that out when he thought that he was the only one left:
And the word of the LORD came to him: "What are you doing here, Elijah?"
1 Kings 19:10 He replied, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, broken down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too."
What did God say to him?
18 Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and all whose mouths have not kissed him."
God does the choosing. And Paul was one of those who in the New Testament was a believing Jew. He was one man amongst a multitude who wanted him dead like he himself killed those who professed Jesus as the Christ.

Free will also means the right to be stupid.
Also today mean of good will and hearts find believing difficult with all the lies mixed in with the Bible in False Christianity.It is easy to see the muddy mess and pass on by. Which is what Satan intended.

The Old Testament does not tell of a Trinity and that is why Jewish scholars (and Muslims) all agree that the Trinity is POLYTHEISM.
The Pagan Roman beliefs of Mithraism were mixed into Christianity to make it appealing to the masses at that time.
Its the new face of Paganism.
That is why you celebrate a rebirth on December 25th - Mithraism holiest day.

surely you assume bible is the word of god and therefore you assume these predictions are accurate. While some of these predictions may be dead on, most are just vague references. Although the bible probably was modified to make some stuff really seem like prophecies, most is just altered word of man....
