First of all neither one is that funny to me. However I hear the wrong thing all the time mostly because I am not listening and not at all because I am crazy. Also many times when I hear the wrong thing although I don't know what the right thing is clearly what I heard was the wrong thing. Because why would I talk to anyone saying the off the wall things I think I hear.

Let me ask do you use an IPOD or MP3 with ear buds that go into the ear. If you do your hearing may be suffering I would go to your doctor and get a ear test.

don't worry about it, you're not crazy or about to
be. people misunderstand what others say all the
time, I do,and so does everybody else I know. It,s
not always you, many people speak without
pronouncing some words clearly and can be
taken for different meanings, happens all the time.

Don't feel crazy, get your ears checked, you may have some sort of a minor hearing problem.

Have your hearing checked. You aren't crazy you may just have problems hearing in background noise.

lol, that's not crazy, but your overreaction to it is. Trust me, I spent weeks studying cognitive psychology at a summer college camp, and this was covered in depth. It's not crazy at all.
