Well now that the Taleban is taking back control of Afghanistan, I'm sure you can find a religious school to go to there.

The Bible was never in the public forum, not in America anyway, where the Founding Fathers created the first 100% secular government in history.

The Constitution contains not a single mention of God, Jesus, or Christianity. And, Article VI states that public officials must swear an oath to the [secular] Constitution – not the Bible or any other religious document.

In 1797, the following was signed into law by president John Adams after being passed unanimously by the US Congress (only the third unanimous vote recorded in the history of the young nation):

• “As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion…”

Murder, rape and pillage of the Midianites (Numbers 31:7-18 NLT)

They attacked Midian just as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men. All five of the Midianite kings – Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba – died in the battle. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho.

Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. "Why have you let all the women live?" he demanded. "These are the very ones who followed Balaam's advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD's people. Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves.

properly, whilst i replaced into an atheist I nonetheless thought evolution replaced into much extra superb than God arising the international. Evolution is going against medical rules. to illustrate, the regulation of conservation of skill states that be counted can not be created nor destroyed. the difficulty with evolution starts on the very commencing up, no longer organic decision, etc. until eventually you may clarify to me the place there extensive ball of be counted got here from in the commencing up, i will in no way have faith evolution. and that i won't settle for "it replaced into merely continuously there." it relatively is illogical. 2d regulation of thermodynamics: each little thing decays and finally disintegrates over the years. subsequently, I end that the arranging of the universe in a working trend isn't smart by fact each little thing could no longer have "outfitted itself up," which you should communicate. Evolution isn't in all probability shown by fact it relatively isn't any longer smart and contradicts medical rules. those are not the only ones. i'm a Christian, i admire technological awareness and it relatively is merely shown God's existence to me extra. additionally, those morals are no longer all previous. I continuously see, "get out of the 1920's and connect me in 2012!" How approximately, enable human beings have their very very own ideals and end bashing them, it relatively is 2012!? have not we moved previous that closed minded era? additionally, there are continuously going to be Christians, I promise you. My God is actual, and no be counted how lots bashing you do or how many excuses you come back up with, no longer something will ever substitute that. :)

Well, the schools are not officially atheist, but they promote the state religion of evolution. Kids are taught that they are just animals. Is it surprising that many of them act that way?

Nobody can deny that there is hostility toward traditional Christianity in the public (government) schools.

Just imagine if the schools, especially public ones with many different religions, kept only one religions book in. Not fair...so that's why it was taken out.

In case you were not aware of it, no one likes people who try to exploit a tragedy for their own purposes.

And no one is paying attention to the right-wing. No one believes their propaganda except themselves.

Do these people have any idea how fully they reveal how immoral they are when they try to use something like Virginia Tech just to further their own agenda.

One thing's for sure. They are not real Christians. Even things like theirlies in referring to a scholl like that as "atheist" ggive them away. They are as dishonest as they are cruel.

Hate to burst your bubble, but statistics show that Christians are the majority in this country and crime is rising. You do the math.

Schools are not atheistic any more than they were formerly religious. Religion has nothing to do with it. The people who have been committing these crimes have been reportedly raised in households that had religion, so I have no idea what you're spouting off about.

Anyone can be violent... and those with religion are more prone to violence than those without religion (or those with an eastern religion).

They aren't Atheist schools, they're just secular. And I'd say our culture and lack of parenting these days probably has a lot more to do with it, but hey, that's just common sense.
