I have about $1500 to purchase a car. That is all. I just need a car to get from point a to point b. What are my options?

You will also need to get insurance on this car, at least for medical liability and property damage. So you will have less than the 1500 to buy and you've got taxes, license, etc. So, look for a car about 1000.
Not a lot of good cars out there for that price. A private party sale would be about the best. Still have a mechanic look at first and see what it needs. that will cost you , but it may cost you more in the long run with a car in that price range. good luck

$1500 will get you most any mid 90s GM or Ford product. Buick Regals, Ford Taurus, Pontiac Grand Am may not be the most stylish cars around, but they run forever and are super cheap to maintain and fix. I have a 1995 Buick Century with 240,000+ miles on it that I use as a winter car here in Michigan and it just keeps going and going.

Try an older model Toyota Camry or like maybe a 1990 Honda Accord.

if you do not have lots of money you should stick with cars made in YOUR country because the repair parts will be cheaper and much easier to get /
