Could be either one of two things. Perhaps they're walking in a wolf pack because they're on the prowl and hungry like a wolf. Or maybe they're walking in a fish bowl for protection against rapists.

Yeah, this is important, because it's obviously not the reason why guys go around in packs. Girls probably do it because men are agressive and they need each other to feel comfortable.
Not like guys, because they simply like each other's company; oh no. Girls are obviously very, very different.
