I have run into so many problems when I try to drink anything. I for one HATE water. hello it has no flavor. haha. my doctor says get use to it cause this is a life long disease. I like flat ginger-ale but after a while you get sick of it. what can i drink that is safe BESIDES WATER??? please help me..

You might want to take a look at the chart on this page:

There are not that many things that are clearly okay, but there are quite a few that might be okay. So you may need to do some experimenting to see what works for you. I personally found that grape juice didn't bother my IC.

The other thing you could do is take a Tums when you drink something that is more acidic. I would take them to alkalinize my urine when I made a dietary "mistake." There is a newer product called Prelief that apparently does the same thing, but I haven't tried it.

Try flavored water. It tastes like juice or lemonade, but does not have the calories that juice and lemonade have.

Propel, Aquafina, and Dasani all have flavored bottled water. It is not much more expensive than normal bottled water.
