The best thing is to have her examined. A urinalysis will be able to tell you alot of things. If there's alot of bacteria, then a couple weeks of antibiotics will help. It'll also cover the chemical properties of the urine (pH, concentration, proteins & other biochemicals).

Does she show any other of the following signs:
*Excessive water consumption
*Urinating only small amounts at a time
*Urinating frequently and in multiple spots
*Inability to hold urine the normal amount of time/apparent incontinence
*Bloody urine (though an infection must either involve a special organism, a bladder stone, a bladder tumor, or be particularly severe to make urine red to the naked eye)

Either way, have her checked out in order to figure out what's going on.

Take her to the Vet, you can not let her suffer, if she has ablatter infection or something pressing on it. Get her checked out SAP and if she is fine then she may need more trips out side. A long walk at least every day and will relieve any stress she may have that u are not aware of. Tons of LOVE...Good Luck

It could just be a bladder infection. Take her into the vet and get some antibiotics. Then she'll feel better too!

small dogs like that just have problems holding it in when they get excited. talk to your vet about it. they can do tests to check for kidney problems, etc.
