Hi I am from Dubai, United Arab Emirates and I watch Oprah Show. In my opinion, Oprah Show has a great impact not only in US but all over the world. It directs people to the direction of love, understanding the differences, purity and humanity …. I believe Oprah’s sprit made her show so special and popular and she is the right image for good Americans.

I agree completely. She does a lot of good with her show, and I'm happy to hear that she is respected outside of the U.S. as well. Whenever she does a show on important social issues I am sure to watch it, and I'm never disappointed. She does have a good spirit, and a really sharp mind. I wish more of our U.S. "celebrities" were more like Oprah. I think she is fair, intuitive, extremely intelligent, and funny too.

I think basically she is a good person. She gives alot back monetarily, although I can't understand that why she needs to have a home worth 50 million dollars (she could do even more with her money if she sold that and lived a little more simply). She also has, like many people on television, a somewhat big ego, I think. But, she does open up people to subjects of dialog which otherwise might not be spoken about, which I think is a positive thing. I think she uses the power of her show and its popularity to a good cause.
Basically she seems to me to be a kind, giving, decent person who gives back. The world could probably use more Oprahs........

Oprah is basically a very good person who does good works....no doubt about that. The only thing I've noticed about her is that she has to receive all the glory for her works....ever seen anything she's done that doesn't have her big "O" stamped on it. The school in Africa is named for her. The Oprah Magazine, until this year always had her picture on the front...and of course there's the name. Now, you unbelievers probably don't think a thing about that, but it bothers me as a Christian, which she claims to be. The Lord said there will be those whose glory is only on this earth and temporary, but those who do good in secret will have glory in heaven. He encourages the Christian to do their good works in secret and not to boast or make a spectacle of yourself. I've watched her enough to have a clue to her personal beliefs about God and I think they are a little skewed and don't quite measure up the Christian doctrine at all. She has a "feel good" religion that doesn't include the gospel of Jesus Christ. Having said all that, I would still enjoy her company and enjoy most of her shows, but I surely don't idolize her nor give a lot of credence to belief system. I do respect her and pray for her and ask God's blessings on her. She is definitely an asset for our country and for the world.

I think Oprah is opinionated and preachy....she is very conceited and believes she is an authority on life for some reason..Oprah is sickeningly self absorbed.....where did she get her doctorate in literature from anyway?...Americans can be better and more peaceful and compassionate and hope we become this way but it will take a lot more than Oprah to do it...

I am not normally an oprah watcher. But I will say that her effort to make child molesters have harsher punishment totally wins my respect for her. All public figures should do the same to protect our children. I say Yay Oprah!

Oprah Winfrey is a nice person who doesn't respect biblical principles. She doesn't represent the image I would choose as an American.

My son was stationed in Dubai, several months ago with the military...he says its very hot there...but nice...the question: Oprah is a very influential person...she speaks and everyone answers...she is truly remarkable...

Oprah is basically a cult leader...do you ever notice the looks in the eyes of all her beloved followers on TV....they act like they're in the presence of some kind of goddess....I think Oprah is satanic tool(one of countless many) for gathering masses of new agers into the new one world religion of the antichrist. One thing that satanists love to do is use words and symbols backwards....Oprah's production company name is Oprah bakcwards.....Harpo!

Oprah is diplomatic. She is tolerant of many things that are not approved by God. She has to worry about her ratings and not her relationship with the Almighty.
Maybe one day she will be able to live her own life.
