Does any one on R&S really read the answers to the questions they pose, or are they just trying to cement the opinion they already have? I mean what is the point? If you believe what you believe, why even ask a question? Too much competition here. Is that a Godly quality?

R&S isn't about atheism or theism (but it is always fun to watch newcomers baffled by this). It is about psychology and opinions. Rarely somebody will ask a question here in order to actually learn something, but rather to get reactions from the others. It is what makes R&S the most posted site in YA. Cyberwars are always fun.

I read every answer to every question that I pose. I have only asked one question the entire time I have been on YA that I did not know the answer to already, besides asking for opinions and prayer. I like to challenge people to think about their lives and how it lines up with the Bible, while I am asking the question I have already asked myself the same thing.

Well, honestly I've never asked a question. But I do answer. I answer because alot of people have a huge misconception about my faith. They think that just because I am not mainstream christianity, then I must be some sort of evil doer. I'm here to try and dispell that myth at least just alittle, in my own way.

I answer questions to the best of my ability. I also scan the other answers . But I get frustrated because nothing I say sinks in. They keep emailing they are right. If they don't want other opinions why do they ask?

most folks will choose the answer that either supports their pov, or is similar to their pov.

no one really wants to learn anything!

sometimes they will pick an answer just because it's funny -even if it has little relevance to the original question...

Actually, I do read the answers. A lot of these people are unintentionally hilarious.
