when people talk to imanagary friends.. they know they are not real but they pretend to be in .. well tv shows with them and spend most of there time in la la land...i am talking about teenagers and adult..not little kids

i too used to do this when i was with my control freak ex husband.. but when we divorced a year later i quit doing it

um these are not really disorders but anyway...
extreme daydreaming, extreme loneliness, hate of this physical realm (not always down to depression) disillusionment. and just plain needing to escape- perhaps you have a lower threshold for dealing with the crap in life than most people
Your right, if you know they're not real- not just in hindsight but at the time as well then it probably isnt schizophrenia.
just sounds like your- albeit slightly unusual- way of coping with the world. if its not negatively affecting your life and you can restrict it then theres nothing wrong with it
If other symptoms are present or they worry you see a psychologist or something

Disisociative identity disorder or multiple personalty disorder . It's debated amoung shrinks whether it exists or not and I haven't really made up my mind whether it does as I've met some ermm unbalanced people... Why do you ask?
