Yes, and I'll bet Ezra noticed it too when he wrote it.
Interesting is the reference to the children of Adonikam.

Adonikam in Hebrew means "lord of enemies."

well, I think that's one of many times that the number appears in the Bible.

In this case, Ezra 2:13 is about the list of exiles who returned. It only has one sentence to this verse and I'll also paste the heading verse as well.
1 Now these are the people of the province who came up from the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had taken captive to Babylon (they returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own town, 2 in company with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum and Baanah):
The list of the men of the people of Israel:
.....
13 of Adonikam 666

It's got one in a thousand chance of coming up in a count of a thousand people. It is a co-incidence yet your question had me turn to it and look for myself.

We should be concerned with what is happening in the world and speaking out more rather then looking at all the ways 666 appears.

Thanks fo your insight though

Peace brother

Well I guess that was the number of kids..it could have been any number. It certainly has no relevance to the 666 mentioned in Revelation..since that is the number of A man.

I will add that verse to the other verses in the OT that I don't believe? The reason: I understand that every number in the Bible meant a specific thing, not necessarily an actual number? I am a New Testament Christian. -smiles- Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

it is weird, but i thought it could be a trinity number because of the way it it could x the numbers by three, and +the numbers and divide it back to three again. but i checked into symbolism of numbers on the net and it said the number 6 is meaning man, beast satan.just depends on how you may look at the numbers.in the bible they are talking about men
